There’s something about vintage pornography, something good. Watch most porn produced these days and it’s unexciting. No music, no story line, 4k HMI’s that let you see every nook and blemish… boring. Where’s the mood? The motive? The feeling of committing to a sexual act in a complete spur of the moment instance, the breaking of rules? This ‘watch girl dance for a minute or two – enter male – hammer – stock rotation of positions – blow allover face’ routine is old and stale. Throwback to the french and swedish productions of the ’60s and ’70s I say. I’ll share a few more examples in the future, but for the sake of longevity I present you with Auto Sex (1969) a story of two young ladies who need their car repaired, but when their shocking bill is returned they resort to an alternative form of ‘payment’.
