I’ve had a Carrie Bradshaw moment that I think is worth sharing.
Life is a beach. Life is a bitch. We’ve heard that all before. But life is also an orgasm too. It is a climatic explosion of feelings and emotions charged by desire, and resulting in both pain and pleasure. It is a learning experience. It is a build up. It is a process. It requires the work of not only yourself but of those around you.. and it is not always easy.
Yet what fuels the desire to feel pleasure is something much more then physical satisfaction… I have learned in my short eighteen and a half years of living about life and about sex is that they both require and both emulate one very important detail: Love.
So while we are blessed with the ability to pleasure ourselves (ahem) with life’s desires, I’ve found that the real enjoyment comes with having passion to fulfill them and loving life. But even more so finding someone to share these experiences with.
I don’t know if this is something you’d typically write about for a magazine, but I know that journalism at the end of the day is about honesty. And honestly I’m in love. But at the same time, this isn’t just about me and it isn’t just for me. This for anyone who has felt that surge of desire and fulfillment just by lightly holding hands with the one they love. This is for anyone who has experienced, caused or was blind-sighted by heartbreak. This is for the hopeless romantic. This really for anyone.
So yeah, there’s sex and fashion, both beautiful and inspiring, but there’s also sex and love the most honest and pure forms of expression there are.
And here’s one last popular cliche: Life may be too short to waste any time, but always make sure that life’s orgasm lasts as long as possible.
Want sex? Need fashion? We’ll give it to you on Twitter…
