Between reality and imagination lies Milo Manara. The Italian born comic book writer and artist approached comics in a distinctly ‘italo-erotic’ sense. Liberal and free, perfectly capturing promiscuity and sexuality in the ’70s and ’80s.
Presenting beautiful women caught in fascinating sexual situations. Not quite pornography, definitely not for children, Manara’s comics included a device that rendered women helplessly aroused, a sweet smelling body paint that left the wearer invisible and a whole mess of other scenarios.
